Ski School Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all ski lessons, ski guiding services, and group instructor arrangements (“Services”) provided by SkiSail.Co (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) to individual participants and group organizers (“Client,” “Participant,” or “you”). By booking or participating in any Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

  1. SkiSail.Co provides private ski lessons, ski guiding, and the arrangement of professional ski instructors for individual or group training.
  2. The Company does not provide travel services, accommodation, transport, lift passes, or equipment rentals. Clients are solely responsible for arranging these items.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Booking Channels: All lessons and guiding sessions must be booked in advance through our online booking system on SkiSail.Co or via direct e-mail confirmation.
  • Payment Methods: Regardless of the booking method (online booking system or email booking), a non-refundable booking fee (deposit) of 20–25% of the total booking value is required to confirm the reservation and secure instructor availability.
  • Settlement: The remaining balance must be paid no later than before the start of the first day of the service.
  • Confirmation: A booking is considered valid and confirmed only after the required payment has been received and verified by SkiSail.Co.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We offer flexible cancellation terms; however, the Reservation Fee is designed to guarantee the instructor’s readiness and time.

  • More than 14 days before the first lesson: 100% refund of the total amount paid.
  • 7 to 13 days before the first lesson: 50% refund of the total booking value.
  • Less than 7 days before the first lesson: No refund shall be issued.

The Reservation Fee (deposit) is non-refundable if the client cancels within the 7-day window or fails to show up, as the instructor was held in readiness for the session.

All refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days.

Please contact us via e-mail as soon as possible if you need to cancel; we will always try to offer a credit or reschedule when possible, subject to availability.

4. Rebooking & Transfer of Reservation

  1. Rebooking (changing dates or times) is possible but strictly subject to instructor availability.
  2. A booking may be transferred to another person if SkiSail.Co is notified at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

5. Weather & Operating Conditions

  1. Lessons are held in all weather conditions as long as the ski lifts are operating.
  2. Poor visibility, snowfall, or cold temperatures are not grounds for cancellation or refund.
  3. If the lifts are officially closed by the resort operator, SkiSail.Co will offer a reschedule or a credit voucher.

6. Participant Responsibilities

  1. Clients must arrive on time with valid ski passes, appropriate ski equipment, and adequate personal insurance covering skiing in Italy.
  2. Late arrival reduces the lesson time and does not entitle the Client to a refund or extension.
  3. Participants take part at their own risk and must follow all instructions of their instructor. Skiing involves inherent risks of falls or accidents that cannot be completely eliminated.

7. Liability Limitation

  1. SkiSail.Co provides Services with the highest professional standards; however, participation is entirely at the Participant’s own risk.
  2. The Company’s liability, regardless of legal grounds, is strictly limited to the amount actually paid for the specific Service.
  3. SkiSail.Co is not responsible for accidents, injuries, property loss, or damages occurring before, during, or after the Service.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Instructors reserve the right to interrupt or refuse a lesson if a Participant behaves in a way that endangers safety (e.g., aggressive behavior, intoxication, reckless skiing). No refund will be provided in such cases.

9. Group Bookings (“Instructors for Groups”)

  1. SkiSail.Co can arrange teams of instructors for organized groups such as travel agencies, schools, or companies.
  2. All details (number of instructors, schedule, pricing, and additional services) are agreed individually with the group organizer.
  3. The group organizer must:
    • provide a list of participants and their skill levels,
    • ensure all participants have appropriate equipment, lift passes, and insurance.
  4. A separate written or email agreement confirming terms and payment schedule is required for all group bookings.

10. Media & Image Rights

By participating in any Service, you grant SkiSail.Co the irrevocable right to use photos and video recordings of the activity for marketing and promotional purposes, without compensation.
If you do not wish to appear in such materials, you must notify SkiSail.Co in writing before the start of the Service.

11. Personal Data (GDPR)

  1. Personal data provided by Clients is processed solely for booking and communication purposes in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  2. Data Controller: SkiSail.Co – info@skisail.co
  3. Clients may request access, correction, or deletion of their data at any time.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and Italy (depending on the place of service delivery).
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the location of the provided service.

13. Final Provisions

  1. Participation in a lesson implies full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
  2. SkiSail.Co reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be published on skisail.co and apply to all future bookings.
